UAV Computer Vision Analysis
A computer vision algorithm was developed by John O’Rourke to detect and quantify crack length and width in concrete surfaces.
The technology was applied using a UAV on a privately owned prestressed concrete box beam bridge in Garrison, New York, enabling forensic analysis of both prestressed and cast-in-place concrete and providing detailed insight into structural condition and integrity.
